Call for Quilts

The Shenandoah Public Library and the Greater Shenandoah Historical Museum are co-sponsoring an exhibit on 1930's quilts. We are looking for area residents who are willing to lend us your quilts from that era for the exhibit, which will be on display at the museum from Sept. 8 through Oct. 2. If you have any questions, you may contact the Jan at the library (712-246-2315) or Jeannine at the museum (712-246-1669).

Under construction!

The Shenandoah Public Library is getting a new front door! Thanks to generous donations given to the Library Foundation, we were able to replace our old creaky door with a brand-new one. It's being installed today, Aug. 3, so patrons are asked to excuse our mess and enter the library through the back door to the children's area. If you have questions, you can call 712-246-2315.
